Perfect days!

Lisa, charging in Morocco

Sometimes you are at the right place at the right time. It was very nice to be in Morocco this latest week when this great swell rolled towards the cost of Tagazout. We had one week with waves that looked like they were cut out from a movie. You felt like a superstar riding them and we surfed from dusk to dawn, just to wake up next morning and realise that you were blessed with another day of perfect waves.
Then you have flat weeks with rain and to much wind, these days you can use to tell about those good days and longing for more!

Sebastian reports from South america:
Punta lobos point break in Chile got world recognition in 2006 when footage appeared of local charger Diego Medina paddeling in to some huge waves . He later that year won the big wave xxl billabong award.

When i  arrived at the crack of dawn to Punta lobos, standing at the top of the cliffs looking out i was greeted by an empty long reeling left hander. Now the big question was how to get out to the peak..
I ended up paddeling through a channel of seaweed, surging water and white wash and climbing up on  small island and walking across it and jumping in from the side between a set.
In the bottom turn of my first wave i look up and realize its double over head. Never judge abook by its cover, or a wave standing on at the top of a cliff he he..

With seagulls and seals and sealions and icecream headaches and super long waves Chile lived it up!

flat day fun

This is my fourth trip to Austraila, the civilised paradise.,as i like to call it.
I always feel welcome” down under” with the aussies no worries mentality. Been roadtriping the whole eastcoast for a month now. It´s been a really hot summer with lots off small but highclass surf. Almost forgot how nice it is to surf in boardies! Chasing the stoke on land me and my Swedish mate Dennis joined a downhill skateboard longboard comp in the Blue Mountains, 1 hour from  Sydney. Real fun getting into the longboard scene in Austraila. Lots of good and riders and many of them  compete in the IGSA world tour. Dennis killed it and ended up on second place, I was super happy ending on 9th place. Might have to swap those jeans for leather soon…  The wildlife has been amazing, lots of dolphins playing in the surf, sea eagles, the dodgy odd snake,  turtels and giant stingrays. Last but definitely not least all the Jackass kangaroos that seem to love running out infront of your car.

-The picture shows some flat day fun, in the blue pools at the classic Angourie Point break.

Our migthy dedicated amigo Sebastian is corresponding from South america. Right now visiting buenos aires, checking out the locals:
Buenos aires lived up to all its expectations..What i love about southern Latin America is that they are blessed with thoose long late Scandinavian summer sunsets. So sitting in the neighbourhood of Bocas drinking a beer watching couples tango away on the cobble stone streets that where drenched in a golden light from the sunset made me feel like i have been missing out.. I really enjoy the ordinary day life that goes on every evening and carries on into the night.
It also made me realize, or more likely, again confirm my thoughts that traveling is the best way to spend your hard earned money.
